#1034 closed bug (fixed (in master))

Town should not interrupt level feelings

Reported by: MarbleDice Owned by: MarbleDice
Milestone: 3.1.2 beta Keywords: dungeon

Recalling to town should not reset the timer that determines if you get a level feeling when entering the next dungeon level.

Time spent in town should probably not count towards level feelings either, although you should probably start the game with a feeling charged.

This just a bugfix for the current (somewhat broken) system; see also #50.

Even if time in town didn't count for feelings, it would still be easy to scum a feeling by going down to dlevel 1, waiting for a feeling to charge, then going back up and then descending with recall. That would be even more annoying than just waiting in town.

So after this change, 1000 game turns must have passed since the last dungeon level was generated. These turns can be spent in the dungeon, in town, or both.
