Improve -mgcu behaviour in 16-colour xterms
|Reported by:||magnate||Owned by:||d_m|
Description (last modified by fizzix)
At the moment -mgcu completely ignores the number of colours available in its terminal environment. This means that in 16-colour environments lots of the monsters are the "wrong" colour, and especially that the "purple uniques" option doesn't work (because TERM_L_VIOLET doesn't exist).
IMO we should simply print an error message if <256 colours are available, but a more time-consuming alternative is to do some juggling with colours. Assigning to d_m as gcu guru - he'll know what to do.
