New bigtile modes break macros

I can confirm this using '#' as a macro for 'm1a'

It worked in ASCII and with Nomad's tiles when using single tiles, and breaks when using double tiles.

Confirmed that this affects SDL too so is not port-specific, and that it only happens if tile_width or tile_height >1.
