You have 32 Iron Shots (1d4) (-5, -4) {fired} (i).
You feel the Iron Shots (i) in your pack are magical...

I was able to reproduce this with a +4, +4 mace (in attached savefile). Sort of a side issue, but should ID by throwing even work for non ammo?

I think this is currently working as expected.

The thing that is a bug is that thrown items aren't currently breaking properly.
