Current stats:

  • 55 potions
  • 18 of which are useless (cept saltwater?)

Todo:

  • Changes:
    • GainStat? -> give temporary boost of +5 when stats already maxed
    • Lose-one-gain-one -> pair strength-intelligence, wisdom-charisma, dexterity-constitution instead
    • Slime Mold Juice -> Apple Juice
    • !Boldness should be allowed to fade away (or remove it, since it's redundant with Heroism).
    • Stat potions should appear up to dlev100.
  • Add (possibly)
    • TempAugmentation, available in shops expensively
    • DragonBreath, which lets you breathe in a given direction
    • !Mutations, which stat-shuffles
  • Pricing:
    • Make CCW more expensive (and more common?), CSW a little less.

Any changes past [7fc90b5] (SVN r979) can be done in a later version, so moving to 3.1.1.

I am not a big fan of adding many (most) of these items--the more stuff there is, the more dilute the good stuff becomes. As for temporary RChaos, FA, and the like: I'm not in favor of them. In UN, temp FA makes sense, since you need FA for an early quest monster. In V, if you don't have FA, don't fight, and avoid Ghasts at all cost. It's good practice for later on, when you need to stay completely away from Gorlim and Saruman if you don't have rConf.

Temp augmentation +5 is way, way too powerful. (I'm not sure that temp stat augmentation is a good idea anyway--it's just one more temptation to wait for maxed-out stats.)

And !Mutation is probably just more junk. It's almost never useful, and it's only potentially useful if you have a lot of it.
