auto squelch worthless items breaks on restarted character

Description

When starting a new character based on a previously died one, and the auto squelch option is enabled, it does not squelch any worthless items the previous character knew.
I can think of two possible solutions:
1. Characters based on old characters don't get the general items knowledge.
2. When creating a character based on an old one, retain the squelch settings, i.e. the quality ones as well the individual ones.

My preference would be the second one.

I don't think you want to retain squelch for a new character. Items totally worthless and squelchable for a really high level character could be extremely useful for a new character.

Yeah, it's been a design decision to not keep squelch between characters.
