Steps to reproduce:

  1. Create two rings of FA
  2. Wear one
  3. Identify the worn one
  4. 'I'nspect the other; notice its lack of description.

I am pretty sure this and some other stuff mentioned here recently relates to the ever-annoying easy_know. This stuff was working correctly in the code I submitted. It may start working when you incorporate more of my code. In the long run, it would be better to get rid of easy_know and store known_flags in the k_info structure.

Things either need adjusting in object_flags_known(), or we need a new PN_ flag that updates known_flags around the dungeon. Not sure which one is superior. If there's other stuff we should be doing wrt ID at the end of turns, then the latter probably is.

r1516 merged in [1d8e083] (SVN r1526) has fixed this with adding the flags in object_flags_known() for now.
