"I've noticed that identified status seems to make more of a difference in selling prices than it should. I can't be sure, but I ?id to learn something I assume is minor and see the price change a lot. In addition, I was unable to sell a blessed weapon to the temple even though I knew it was blessed, until I id'ed it."

Are shops using the right set of item flags to determine price and sellability? Should shops refuse to buy objects unless they're fully known first (except unknown flavours, which they'll buy for cheap)? What's the model for shops owner's knowledge of objects and why does it always correspond to the player's?

Sorry, should have spotted this ages ago. Shopkeepers now offer price based on o_ptr->known_flags, so the price change on ID will depend on how many unknown flags the ID reveals. I am confident that there are no bugs left with this.
