I've checked 0b2a7ab and I'm not really fond of the result. I came up with a better idea, tell me what you think of it:

  • remove burden indicator completely so that Display equipment (e) and Display inventory (i) have the same header: "Select Item: (Equip/Inven?: x-y, ...)"
  • add a new command "Display burden" mapped to 'B' (original keyset -- need something else for roguelike): displays "Burden xx.x lb (yy.y lb remaining/overweight)" on the top line
  • burden info would stay in inventory subwindow

Agreed, but I don't think we need a burden command - it's shown on the 'C' screen, we just need to add a weight remaining section to it.

I've changed the prompt and re-adjusted the 'C' screen in 823287b - what do you think?

The result is fine. Forgot about the C screen but yes, that's the perfect place to put the burden indicator.
