Prevent generation of 'damaged' items in stores

By this I mean armour and weapons with negative modifiers to hit/dam/ac.

Why? As long as AC or Hit dice is > 0 then an object is still worth something. I think ZAngband has it right with respect to 'damaged' items and stores.

Well, personally I agree with you - they're generated at the moment precisely because they have a net positive value. But there is an interesting psychological phenomenon which means that players just don't like them, and most would never buy them. So we may as well prevent their generation and have the store slots filled with more useful stuff.
