Description (last modified by magnate)
Dubtrain's sounds are so good they ought to be more easily available and installable.
Has to be non-free because of Dubtrain's choice of CC licence, hence a separate package.
Check the RPM too of course.

Replying to magnate:
In case anyone is wondering, I have finally managed to create this package. Once it's accepted into the Debian archive, I'll create an RPM and close this ticket. (It will appear in Ubuntu a few weeks later.)
Cool... did you need to convert the sounds for them to work? Because if I use the original files from http://www.dubtrain.com/angband/, angband just moan about "Complex" formats.
Thanks for the package... waiting impatiently for them :-)

Oh dear, that's not good. The original archive contains only WAV format sounds, which is about as un-complex as you can get. So I don't think the packaging will solve your problem ... try posting on the Oook forum?

Now we have a "pending" status, I'm marking this Pending until it's uploaded to Debian ...

Closed in error - the package was never uploaded to Debian or Ubuntu. Reopening because I will need to build and upload to mentors again.

Finally accepted into Debian Unstable in July 2015, a mere five years after I first built it.
